Service Job Reports

Admin Manager

Use this page to see how much your service jobs brought in, what customers still owe, how many jobs finish on time, and how each technician is doing.

Quick steps

  1. Go to Reports and click Service Job Reports.
  2. Pick a report: Revenue & Billing, Completion Analytics or Technician Performance.
  3. Set From and To and click Apply (the default is the last 30 days).
  4. On Revenue & Billing, check Outstanding — finished work you haven't been paid for yet.

Open Reports and click Service Job Reports ("Revenue, completion rates, and technician performance"). The card only appears when service jobs are switched on.

There are three reports. Each has From and To dates — Apply to use them, Clear to go back to the default of the last 30 days.

Which jobs are counted

All three reports count jobs created between the From and To dates, not jobs worked or paid in that time. A job created on May 28 and paid on June 5 is in May's report.

Revenue & Billing

"Revenue breakdown and outstanding balances." It counts jobs that are Completed, Invoiced or Paid:

FigureMeaning
Total RevenueThe totals of those jobs, tax included.
Subtotal / TaxThe same, split into before tax and tax.
CollectedPayments recorded against them.
OutstandingWhat customers still owe on them.

Below that:

  • Revenue by Category — jobs, revenue and completed jobs for each category. Jobs with no category are grouped as "Uncategorized".
  • Jobs by Priority — the same for Urgent, High, Normal and Low.

Outstanding is the number to chase: finished work you haven't been paid for.

Completion Analytics

"Track job completion rates and efficiency."

FigureMeaning
Avg DurationThe average time from Start Job to Complete Job, in hours.
On-Time CompletionsJobs finished by their scheduled end time.
Jobs with DeadlineJobs that had a scheduled end time to compare against.
On-Time RateOn-time completions as a percentage of jobs with a deadline.

Completion by Category shows, for each category, Total Jobs, Completed and Completion Rate.

A finished job counts as completed whether it's still Completed or has since been Invoiced or Paid — billing a job doesn't take it out of these figures or the Completed columns on the other reports.

Technician Performance

"Track staff productivity and assignments." One row per person who was assigned to a job in the date range, most completed jobs first:

ColumnMeaning
TechnicianThe staff member.
AssignedJobs they were assigned to.
CompletedOf those, jobs that are finished — Completed, Invoiced or Paid.
Completion RateCompleted as a percentage of assigned.
RevenueThe totals of their finished jobs.

A job with two technicians counts for both of them.
