Online Orders

Admin Manager

If your store has a WooCommerce online store connected, online orders are automatically synced to Brother POS. The Online Orders section gives you a unified view of all incoming web orders alongside your in-store sales, so you can manage fulfillment from one place.

Orders List

Prerequisites

Before online orders appear in Brother POS, you must have:

  • A WooCommerce store connected and synced. See WooCommerce Setup.
  • Order sync enabled in your WooCommerce integration settings.
  • Products synced between Brother POS and WooCommerce so that line items match correctly.
Not using WooCommerce?

If your store does not have a WooCommerce integration, the Online Orders section will not appear in your admin panel. This page only applies to stores with an active WooCommerce connection.

Accessing WooCommerce Orders

WooCommerce orders appear in the same unified order list alongside regular sales. They are identified by a WooCommerce badge in the Type column.

  1. Log in to the Admin Panel.
  2. Click Orders in the top navigation bar.
  3. WooCommerce orders are displayed alongside regular sales in the same table, using the same columns (Order #, Type, Fulfillment, Date/Time, Customer, Items, Total, Payment, Status, Actions).

Fulfillment Statuses

WooCommerce orders display the following fulfillment statuses:

StatusMeaning
PendingOrder received, awaiting fulfillment.
CompletedOrder has been fulfilled.
VoidedOrder was cancelled.

Viewing WooCommerce Order Details

WooCommerce order details can be viewed by clicking View on any WooCommerce order. The detail page shows order information, line items, and customer details but is read-only -- there are no status update or processing controls in the Brother POS admin panel. Order status management should be done through the WooCommerce admin.

Order Details View

The WooCommerce order detail page shows:

Customer Information

  • Name, email, and phone number
  • Billing and shipping address information
  • Customer account link (if the customer exists in Brother POS)

Line Items

A table showing every product in the order with quantities, unit prices, and line totals.

Payment Information

Shows the payment method and payment status from WooCommerce. Payment processing happens on the WooCommerce side -- Brother POS records the payment information but does not process online payments directly.

Syncing Behavior

Automatic Sync

WooCommerce orders sync to Brother POS automatically. The sync job runs periodically in the background. New orders typically appear within a few minutes of being placed.
