Quick Add
Quick Add lets managers and admins create new products directly from the POS register without navigating to the admin panel. This is useful when receiving new inventory that has not been entered yet, or when a customer brings a product not in the system.
Opening Quick Add
- Tap the Quick Add button in the POS interface (typically in the product pane header or actions area).
- The Quick Add modal opens.
Cashiers cannot use Quick Add. Only managers and admins see the Quick Add button.
Quick Add requires an active network connection. The button is disabled while offline.
Product Types
Quick Add supports four product types:
Weight
For cannabis and other weight-based products sold by the gram.

| Stock (grams) | No | Starting stock in grams. Quick presets: 28g, 112g, 224g, 448g. |
| Categories | Auto | Auto-filled from the selected tier's configured categories. |
When a strain is selected from the search results, badges show the strain type (Indica/Sativa/Hybrid), THC level, and dominant terpene.
Unit
For simple products with a fixed price per unit.

Variable
For products with multiple variations (e.g., sizes, flavors).

Each variation row has:
- Variation Name (e.g., "Small", "Large", "Strawberry")
- Price
- Stock
Tap Add Variation to add more rows. Tap the remove button to delete a row.
Variation
Add a new variation to an existing variable product.

The parent product search shows the product name and existing variation count.
Category Selection
For Weight, Unit, and Variable types, you can assign categories using a hierarchical checkbox tree. Selecting a subcategory automatically selects its parent category. Weight products have categories auto-filled from the selected tier.
Label Printing
After creating a weight product, if a label printer is configured on your register, the modal transitions to a label printing screen:
- Each weight point from the tier's pricing matrix is listed with +/- quantity controls.
- Select how many labels to print for each weight (e.g., 5 labels for 3.5g, 3 labels for 7g).
- Choose a label template if multiple are available.
- Tap Print to send to the label printer, or Skip to close without printing.
Batch Mode
Enable Batch Mode with the checkbox at the bottom of the modal. When enabled:
- After successfully creating a product, the form resets but stays open.
- Your selected product type and tier are preserved.
- This allows rapid entry of multiple similar products without reopening the modal.
